Job Description
Supporting the Dir. Feedstock this role will develop medium‑ and long‑term strategies to optimize marine transportation, minimize logistics cost, and ensure reliable vessel, terminal, and storage availability. Negotiate and manage chartering arrangements, demurrage claims, and storage/terminal contracts for liquid bulk movements across Europe. Ensure that these provide the company with flexible, reliable, timely, and cost‑efficient logistics solutions, contributing to improved supply chain performance and margin protection.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Engineering, Maritime Studies, or Logistics. Master’s preferred.
- 5 to 10 years’ experience in petrochemicals, oil & gas, marine logistics, or chartering, with at least 3–8 years commercial experience.
- Strong negotiation skills across shipowners, terminals, and suppliers.
- Trading and risk management mindset.
- Ability to interpret CPs, SOFs, and operational logs.
- Excellent communication and analytical skills.
- Ability to make decisive calls with significant cost impact in volatile freight and terminal markets.
