Cement Mill-Weighbridge Operator Jobs in Doha, Qatar at HOLCIM CEMENT QATAR
Responsible for obtaining weight of inbound/outbound materials (raw materials & finished products) through the weighbridge station and accurate recording of the trucks movement (weight, product type, truck/tank driver information) following established dispatch procedure.
Job Responsibilities:
Maintain close coordination with the Production Department on the stocks availability ready for dispatch and match with the daily requirements sent by the Sales & Marketing Department as encoded in the weighbridge automated system.
Take inbound weight of trucks and loaded outbound trucks accurately. Record weights by vehicle, completing appropriate transaction/documentation and collect driver signatures for accounting purposes in the ERP System accordingly.
Coordinate with the security for the proper queuing of trucks.
For outbound materials, inform the Shift Supervisor if there is any significant variance, both negative & positive, on the weight of trucks and send the tank or truck driver back to the loading for appropriate correction.
Adapt an attentive state of mind with regards to the flow of weighing in and out of trucks. Be vigilant on any variance or unusual occurrence in order to immediately rectify or avoid potential problematic situations.
Exercise good judgement and take decisions on minor predicaments encountered in the weighbridge.
Instruct drivers on the circulation plan and safety requirements of the plant prior to allowing them entry to the site.
Perform other work-related tasks as may be assigned.
Education, Experience & Skills:
Diploma in Engineering or any two-year industrial vocational course
Two years of work experience on scaling and dispatch of finished products from a manufacturing company
Computer literate in Basic Software like word processing and excel sheets
Multi-taskingability; can contribute to field works when WB are on shutdown
Accuracy in following procedures and work instructions
