CDL/VAC Truck Operator Jobs in Middletown, Ohio, USA at Transforce
MPS Group, Inc., is seeking multiple CDL/Vac Truck Operators on 1st shift to
join our team
at the Cleveland Cliffs facility located in Middletown, OH. CDL Operators are skilled employees that drive and operate various pieces of industrial equipment, including tractor trailers, vacuum trucks, jetter vac trucks, and hydro blasting pumps. These individuals will be responsible to load and unload equipment for the job, setup and breakdown equipment, such as various sized industrial vacuum hose, hydro blast hoses, or any other systems and processes for the job.
Typical Shift
Hours:
Monday – Sunday 6:30 a.m.
– 3:30 p.m.
Responsibilities and
Job Duties:
Sets up and operates industrial vacuum trucks, lifting, carrying and pulling hoses of up to 100 pounds, climbing on the unit (12′ high), minor maintenance, standing, kneeling or bending for long periods of time.
Performs operation of high-pressure cleaning equipment requires climbing up and down the unit to set up and take down equipment.
Checks all waste (truck load) related paperwork prior to transport for accuracy and complete information necessary (manifests, bill of lading, land disposal restriction forms); ensure proper placarding.
Adheres to all safety protocols of MPS and the host facility along with DOT regulations and all local, state and federal laws related to the work assigned.
Performs manual labor in industrial settings.
Requirements and
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED.
The successful applicant with have a valid Class A or B CDL license.
OSHA 10 certification is mandatory prior to hire (may obtain through company sponsored program).
One year of related experience.
Must be able to pass a background check.
Must be able to pass a drug test and physical.
The position requires the operation of standard trucks. *
