Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently to various locations. This role requires a commitment to safety, adherence to traffic regulations, and the ability to handle different types of trucks, including dump trucks, tractor-trailers, and flatbeds.
Duties
Operate various types of trucks, including dump trucks, tractor-trailers, and flatbeds.
Safely load and unload freight using appropriate equipment such as forklifts.
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and compliance.
Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, vehicle maintenance, and delivery schedules.
Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while on the road.
Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery status.
Manage freight handling procedures for refrigerated trailers as needed.
Ensure proper securing of loads during transport to prevent damage.
Experience
Proven experience in truck driving with a valid commercial driver’s license (CDL).
Familiarity with manual transmission vehicles is preferred.
Experience operating different types of trucks such as dump trucks, flatbeds, and refrigerated trailers is a plus.
Knowledge of freight handling procedures and safety protocols is essential.
Ability to work independently while maintaining focus on safety and efficiency.
