Job Summary:
Operates a Class B Hazmat vehicle, delivering compressed and liquid gas cylinders and hard goods along designated routes. Collects empty cylinders from customers. Records transactions and obtains signatures. Addresses customer inquiries, ensuring satisfaction. Handles loading/unloading. Conducts pre/post-trip vehicle checks, noting issues and ensuring safety compliance. Presents a professional appearance and upkeeps the vehicle’s condition.

Required Qualifications:
Meet physical driver qualifications.
Proficiency in English for communication, signs, and documentation.
Strong verbal skills, self-motivation, attention to detail, and goal-oriented.
Ability to analyze customer inquiries and solve problems.
Positive team player with adaptability.
Ability to understand MSDS and perform lifting tasks.
Must be able to drive Hazmat cargo for up to 8 hours; frequent bending required.
Ability to lift 25-75 lbs routinely; occasionally over 100 lbs.
Willing to work overtime when necessary.
Outdoor work in varying temperatures.
Operate warehouse equipment including forklift and pallet jack.
Adhere to safety regulations and policies.
Valid driver’s license with necessary endorsements.
Willingness to work outdoors in changing temperatures.
Maintain a drug-free workplace.
Safely load/unload, deliver, and retrieve cylinders and hard goods.
Maintain accurate load manifests and documents.
Foster strong customer relationships, provide cost and delivery info.
Monitor and adjust cylinder levels to prevent emergencies.
Assist in inventory, housekeeping, and showroom tasks.
Are you a MATCH?
Minimum age: 21 years.
Class B or better CDL with HAZMAT endorsement.
Successful completion of Airgas background and motor vehicle check.
DOT Clearinghouse verification required.
One year of relevant driving experience or completion of an accredited truck driving school.
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work in a drug-free environment.
