CDL Rear Load Drivers service customers by collecting and hauling waste or recycling materials to disposal or recycling facilities.
Operate trucks safely, complying with regulations and company policies.
Empty containers into trucks and haul materials; may need to move containers from enclosures or inside buildings.
Deliver and replace containers, clean spills, and maintain route logs.
Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections and communicate professionally with customers.
Must have a valid Class B CDL, DOT Medical Card, and meet driving and physical requirements.
Additional conditions include working in high traffic areas,
flexible hours
, and traveling between locations.
Preferred experience in the waste industry and a high school diploma or GED.
