Overview
We are seeking a SKILLED and RELIABLE CLASS A TRUCK DRIVER to join our team. The ideal candidate will have Experience OPERATING A “NEW” AUTOMATIC SEMI TRACTOR. This role involves transporting freight safely and efficiently while adhering to all traffic laws and company policies. The Driver will be Responsible for ensuring the vehicle is maintained in good condition, and providing excellent service to our clients.
Responsibilities
- Operate 53′ REFRIGERATED TRAILER, and AUTOMATIC SEMI TRACTOR
- Safely transport freight to designated locations in a timely manner.
- NO LOADING OF OR UNLOADING OF CARGO “NO TOUCH FREIGHT”, ensuring PROPER DELIVERY
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, fuel usage, and any INCIDENTS that may occur during TRANSPORT.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients regarding delivery schedules and any POTENTIAL DELAYS.
- Adhere to ALL traffic laws and COMPANY POLICIES WHILE DRIVING.
- ASSIST in the MAINTENANCE of the truck by REPORTING ANY MECHANICAL ISSUES OR NECESSARY REPAIRS.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL CLASS A) MIN 3 YRS WITH A CLEAN DRIVING RECORD.
- EXPERIENCE PULLING REFRIGERATED TRAILERS, PREFERRED.
- STRONG UNDERSTANDING of REFRIGERATED FREIGHT HANDLING procedures and safety REGULATIONS PREFERABLE.
- EXCELLENT TIME MANAGEMENT SKILLS with the ability to meet DEADLINES.
- Good communication skills for effective interaction with team members and clients
- A COMMITMENT to SAFETY and PROFESSIONALISM ON THE ROAD.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $2,250.00 per week
