CDL Class A Truck Driver – Refrigerated Freight (1099 Contractor)
We are actively seeking a dependable and experienced CDL Class A driver for refrigerated freight routes covering the East Coast to Midwest region. Anyone living in these areas are encouraged to apply. This role is ideal for drivers who are comfortable staying out on the road for extended periods and operating independently.
Compensation:
- 30% of gross load
- Weekly pay
- 1099 contractor position
Schedule & Routes:
- Monday through Friday
- Intrastate and regional runs (East Coast to Midwest)
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections daily
- Ensure safe operation and secure parking of equipment
- Maintain compliance with all road safety regulations
- Troubleshoot minor mechanical issues as needed
- Collaborate with dispatch when necessary
Qualifications:
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record
- Minimum 3 years of verifiable experience
- Knowledge of truck maintenance and safety procedures
- Fluent in English
- U.S. citizen or permanent resident
- Must pass drug and alcohol screening
