Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Truck Driver to join our transportation team. The ideal candidate will have experience in various types of truck driving, including flatbed, refrigerated trailers, and tankers. This role requires a strong commitment to safety and efficiency while delivering freight to designated locations. You will be responsible for managing routes effectively and ensuring timely deliveries.
Responsibilities
Operate and drive various types of trucks, including flatbed, refrigerated trailers, and tankers.
Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations.
Load and unload freight securely, ensuring proper handling of goods.
Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, routes taken, and deliveries made.
Navigate routes efficiently while adhering to traffic laws and regulations.
Communicate with dispatch regarding any issues or delays on the road.
Ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of the truck.
Experience
Proven experience in truck driving with a valid commercial driver’s license (CDL)
Experience with route driving and managing delivery schedules effectively.
Hazmat certified
Strong understanding of safety regulations and best practices in commercial driving.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
