About the Role:
We are currently seeking a reliable and skilled Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently to various locations, primarily operating a dry van. This position requires a strong knowledge of route driving, vehicle operation, and strict adherence to all safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Transport freight to assigned destinations on time and in compliance with DOT regulations.
Operate trucks and dry van equipment safely and efficiently.
Perform pre- and post-trip inspections of vehicle and report any issues.
Maintain accurate logs of working hours, routes, and vehicle service records.
Communicate effectively with staff and customers.
Secure cargo properly and ensure the integrity of shipments.
Uphold company standards for customer service and professionalism.
Requirements:
Valid CDL (Commercial Driver’s License)
Clean driving record
Able to pass DOT physical and drug screening
Proven experience as a truck driver (dry van experience preferred)
Strong knowledge of applicable truck driving rules and regulations
Excellent time management and organizational skills
High level of integrity and dependability
Experience
Proven experience in truck driving or delivery driving is preferred.
Familiarity with commercial driving regulations and safety standards.
Previous experience with freight handling and logistics is advantageous.
Ability to navigate various routes using maps or GPS systems effectively.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
