Summary
As a CDL Class A OTR Solo/Team/Owner Operator, you will be responsible for safely transporting freight across long distances while adhering to all regulations and company policies. This role requires strong driving skills, particularly in operating tractor-trailers, and may involve handling various types of trailers, including refrigerated and flatbed. Your experience as a delivery driver and proficiency in load and unload operations will be essential. Responsibilities
Operate a CDL Class A truck for long-haul deliveries, ensuring safe and efficient transportation of goods.
Load and unload freight, utilizing forklifts and other equipment as necessary.
Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while maintaining accurate logs of driving hours and vehicle inspections.
Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential issues.
Ensure proper handling of various trailer types, including refrigerated, flatbed, and tanker, as required.
