Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently, ensuring timely deliveries while adhering to all safety regulations and company policies. This role requires a strong understanding of various types of trucks, including tanker, flatbed, roll-off trucks, and dump trucks. The Truck Driver will play a crucial role in maintaining the flow of freight and supporting our operations.
Responsibilities
Execute route driving to deliver goods to designated locations in a timely manner.
Load and unload freight as required, ensuring proper handling and securing of cargo.
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs for hours driven and vehicle maintenance.
Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while on the road.
Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise.
Qualifications
Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with appropriate endorsements for the type of vehicle being operated.
Proven experience in truck driving with a strong understanding of route driving techniques.
