Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Dedicated Account Truck Driver to join our transportation team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting general freight safely and efficiently to various locations while adhering to all traffic laws and regulations. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, punctuality, and customer service. You will get home daily. Day and night shifts SUN-THURS or TUES-SAT available and will run a dedicated lane from York to Cloverleaf and back–Will be home daily. Drop and hooks, No touch freight.
Responsibilities
Plan routes effectively to ensure timely delivery of goods.
Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper handling and securing of items.
Conduct pre-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, vehicle maintenance, and deliveries.
Communicate with dispatchers regarding schedules, delays, or issues on the road.
Adhere to all local, state, and federal driving regulations.
Provide excellent customer service during deliveries.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in truck driving with a valid commercial driver’s license (CDL).
Must be at least 21 years old
Must have at least 1 year of solo experience
Familiarity with route driving and navigation systems.
Knowledge of safety protocols related to commercial driving.
Strong communication skills for effective interaction with dispatchers and customers.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
