Position: CDL-A Local Truck Driver

Job Overview:
This local driving position involves hauling palletized groceries in dry van from a distribution center in the Sumner/Tacoma, WA area to customers in Washington and Oregon. Drivers will operate automatic day cab trucks.
Pay & Bonuses:
Mileage Pay: $0.54 – $0.58 per mile
No-Touch Stop Pay: $30 per stop
Driver Assist Stop Pay: $45 per stop
Doubles Load Pay: $25 per load
New Hire Training Pay: $20 per hour
Holiday Pay: $300 per day
Annual Earnings: Drivers in this position have averaged $86,233 annually
Schedule & Home Time:
Workweek: Tuesday – Saturday
Start Time: Between 1 AM – 4 AM
Shift Length: Averages 10-hour days
Sixth Day Available: Optional extra workday
Freight & Equipment:
Freight Type: Palletized groceries
Trailers: 53’ trailers and pup trailers
Trucks: Automatic International Day Cabs
Slip Seating Required: Truck must remain at the account during time off
Operating Area:
Local routes within Washington and Oregon
Requirements:
Valid CDL-A License
Minimum 3 months of recent tractor-trailer experience
Doubles Endorsement required within 30 days (Reimbursement provided)
Willingness to chain up as weather requires
Ability to assist other accounts as needed
Responsibilities:
Safely operate a CDL Class A truck for timely deliveries.
Perform pre-trip & post-trip inspections.
Maintain accurate logs & records.
Follow traffic laws & company policies.
