We are currently seeking an experienced Heavy Haul CDL-A Driver to
join our team
! This position would be responsible for hauling large equipment to and from various industrial construction sites throughout WNY and surrounding areas.
Duties
/Responsibilities
* One will be responsible for transporting various construction equipment and at times over-dimensional loads.
* Uses tractor trailers to haul large equipment and materials.
* Conduct pre and post trip inspections in accordance with DOT regulations.
* Responsible for loading, hauling and unloading equipment and materials.
* Maintain accurate records.
* Maintain communications with Dispatcher with status updates/issues.
* Responsible for the safe operation of commercial motor vehicles.
* Must have knowledge of all state and federal DOT regulations regarding Commercial Motor Vehicles.
Requirements of the Position
* Must have a valid CDL Class A driver’s license
* Teamsters Union Position
* Must pass all DOT requirements
* Certified to operate all
tools and equipment
required to perform their assignments
* Landoll & Lowboy experience preferred
