CDL Class A Driver Jobs in Lexington, NC at Lexington Home Brands
Position Summary:
Driver responsible for driving tractor trailers and/ or straight trucks on intrastate routes for the purpose of transporting empty trailers/full trailers to warehouse locations. Drives Monday through Friday on local routes, no long distant routes.
Essential Functions:
· Inspect vehicle and required parts and accessories to determine safe operating condition prior to departure
· Operate vehicle in compliance with company rules and all applicable state and federal regulations, and in accordance with accepted principles of safe driving
· Deliver freight to warehouse
· Load and unload freight as required
· Perform other related work as required
Position Requirements:
· Driver must have valid North Carolina State Driver License with CDL Class A endorsement
· Clean Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) for past 3 years Must be 21 years of age
· Meet all State licensing and/or certification requirements (where applicable)
· Valid current DOT Health Card and/or able to secure new DOT Health Card
· Driver must be able to walk, bend, reach, push, pull, stoop, squat, and climb, as necessary to load and unload freight and vehicle inspections.
· Satisfactory pass drug test and criminal background checks
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.43 – $19.92 per hour
