Summary
As a CDL Class A Driver, you will be responsible for safely operating commercial vehicles, including tractor-trailers, to transport goods efficiently. Reporting to the Logistics Manager, your core skills in driving and truck operation will be essential in ensuring timely deliveries. Your premium skills with manual transmissions and various trailer types, such as refrigerated and flatbed, will enhance your versatility on the road. Additionally, your relevant experience with load and unload procedures, route driving, and forklift operation will contribute to our commitment to excellence in freight transportation. Responsibilities
Operate and drive a CDL Class A truck, ensuring safe and efficient transportation of goods.
Load and unload freight, utilizing forklifts and other equipment as necessary.
Navigate routes effectively to meet delivery schedules.
Maintain vehicle cleanliness and perform routine inspections and maintenance checks.
Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while on the road.
Communicate with dispatch regarding delivery status and any issues encountered.
