Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Truck Driver to join our logistics team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently to various locations while adhering to all traffic laws and company policies. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, and the ability to handle freight with care.
Duties
Operate trucks ensure safe delivery of goods.
Unload freight, ensuring proper handling of materials / ramp / handtrucks
Navigate routes effectively while maintaining delivery schedules.
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety compliance.
Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of mileage, fuel use, and any incidents.
Skills
Proficiency in truck driving with experience in route driving and delivery driver responsibilities.
Strong knowledge of commercial driving regulations and safety protocols.
Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles confidently.
Familiarity with freight handling procedures and equipment such as forklifts.
Excellent time management skills to meet delivery deadlines.
