Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently to various locations. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, and the ability to navigate diverse routes while adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
Responsibilities
Operate commercial vehicles, including tractor-trailers, dump trucks, flatbeds, and roll-off trucks.
Ensure the safe and timely delivery of freight to designated locations.
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure they are in good working condition.
Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of mileage, and any incidents that occur during transit.
Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding routes and schedules.
Adhere to all local, state, and federal transportation regulations.
Manage loading and unloading of cargo as required, ensuring proper handling of materials.
Skills
Proven experience in commercial driving with a valid CDL (Commercial Driver’s License).
Proficiency in operating Rollback and Landoll trucks.
Familiarity with route driving and navigation techniques.
Ability to handle various types of freight safely and efficiently.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols.
Excellent time management skills to meet delivery deadlines.
Good communication skills for effective interaction with team members and clients.
