We are currently seeking a skilled and reliable Truck Driver with an executive mindset to join our Family. As a Truck Driver, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently transporting goods and materials to various destinations. You will also help shape the driving position within our family for future hires and eventually take part in the decision making of our daily operations assisting with the growth and expansion of the company. We are a new company and the first hires will automatically be the first wave considered for upper management and executive roles. This is a great opportunity for individuals who enjoy driving, have experience in commercial driving and also looking to be an executive and help build the company.
Responsibilities:
– Safely operate tractor-trailer for on time deliveries.
– 97% No touch Freight
– Follow all traffic laws and regulations while driving
– Inspect vehicles before and after each trip to ensure they are in good working condition
– Complete necessary paperwork, such as delivery logs and mileage records
– Communicate with dispatchers and other team members to coordinate deliveries
– Perform basic automotive repairs or maintenance tasks when necessary
Qualifications:
– Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record
– Proven experience as a truck driver or in a similar role
– Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles is a plus
– Knowledge of automotive repair and maintenance is a plus
– Excellent time management skills and ability to meet deadlines
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills
