W-2 position
Avg. $1600-$1950+ weekly
Haz Mat air off Class 8 water treatment chemicals
Deliver to Texas and Louisiana, DEDICATED ACCOUNT, TOPLOAD PRODUCTS
90% LOCAL M-F , avg. 50+ local loads weekly, plus Austin, Plaquemine, New Orleans, etc. out and back same day
CURRENTLY TURNING DOWN LOADS so we need 2 drivers
Position Details
- Pay: $85,000 – $95,000+ per year
- Schedule: Monday – Friday 90% , 1 Saturday or Sunday per month required
- Routes: Local and regional deliveries
- Delivery Area: Texas and Louisiana
- Freight Type: Haz Mat Liquid bulk water treatment chemicals
- Loading/Unloading: Top-load tanker, unload using truck air compressor or customer supplied air
- Equipment: 6 Sleeper trucks, 1 day cab, 5 SS Dot 407 trailers and 5 FRP trailers
Requirements
- Texas Class A license with X endorsement
- 3 years chemical tanker experience or 3 years OTR tractor trailer reefer/flatbed/van with strong work history wanting more home time
- Willing to train right candidate
- 10 speed manual trucks, no automatics
- Must be able to climb trailer ladders, secure fittings and hoses to trailer and customer tank connections
- Must wear chemical gloves/suit, hardhat with faceshield and monogoggles while connecting /disconnecting hoses
- Must be physically fit to work outdoors in hot and cold temperatures
- TWIC card
- Valid DOT medical card
- Clean motor vehicle record; no accidents, no moving violations
- Ability to work 1 weekend per month
- Must be proficient in English
