Earn $2,200 – $2,300 / Week
CDL-A Truck Driver Job Details
- Average weekly truck driver pay: $2,200-$2,300 gross
- Weekly minimum guarantee: $2,000 gross
- Home Multiple Nights per Week
- Dedicated routes
- Rider Policy
- Freightliner Cascadias
- 8 paid holidays per year
- PTO accruing up to 5 weeks
- $400 per day for holiday and PTO
- Profit sharing – receive a cut of Nussbaum’s profits. Pays quarterly
- ESOP – free Nussbaum shares given, annually. Worth an additional 4-6% of earnings
- 401K with company match
- Full Coverage: Health, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance.
What You Will Do
- 100% driver touch freight
- Operating out of DHL warehouse in Elgin, IL hauling tires and wheels to Discount Tire retail stores operating mostly in the Midwest and Upper Midwest.
- Driver hand-unloads stacked tires at every store
- Involves unstacking and rolling tires to the back of the trailer.
- Driver is NOT responsible for moving/re-stacking tires once they are off the trailer

CDL-A Truck Driver Requirements
- CDL A Truck Driver must be at least 21 years of age to meet FMCSA interstate commerce requirements
- Truck Driver must have at least 6 months of recent experience
- Truck Driver must have valid CDL A
- CDL A Truck Drive must have no more than 3 moving violations in the last 3 years
