Job Overview:
Join our team as a Dedicated Company Truck Driver where you will be a vital part of our transportation operations, ensuring the efficient and safe delivery of goods. As a Dedicated Truck Driver, you will be hauling dedicated freight in a dry van trailer. Driver unload using electric pallet jack. There is also back hauls. Get home weekly for reset and a couple of times during the week for 10 hour break. Run 1800-2000 miles a week. Run GA, AL, Southern SC and Ocala/Lakeland FL. Shift is Tues-Sat with early dispatch (1 AM-6 AM) depending on route. Must have Hazmat. Accessory Pays and bonuses.
Responsibilities:
– Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport goods to specified destinations.
– Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to guarantee the vehicle’s safety and functionality.
– Efficiently plan routes to ensure on-time deliveries while adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations.
– Coordinate delivery schedules by communicating effectively with dispatchers and team members.
– Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage covered, fuel consumption, and any incidents that occur during transportation.
– Adhere strictly to company policies and transportation regulations throughout all operations.
Requirements:
– Possession of a valid CDL (Commercial Driver’s License) with Class A endorsement.
-Must have at least 1 year of experience
-Must be at least 21 years old
-Must have a stable job history
-Must be comfortable driving at night
-Must have Hazmat.
