Job Title: Class A SOLO Truck Driver Company: Xpress Global Systems (XGS) Location: Tunnel Hill, GA Position Overview Xpress Global Systems (XGS) is seeking experienced SOLO Class A Truck Drivers to support our transportation and logistics operations. This role is responsible for the safe, timely, and efficient movement of freight while maintaining compliance with all DOT regulations and company standards. Compensation Pay Range: $0.52/mileAverage Over 2,500 miles/week (Eastern Region + Texas Area)Additional Earnings: Potential for safety bonuses and performance incentives (where applicable)Average of 5 days out with the majority of your resets done at homeRegular Routes Key Responsibilities Safely operate a Class A commercial motor vehicle (CMV) for deliveries and pickupsPerform pre-trip and post-trip inspections; report maintenance issues promptlyFollow all traffic laws, DOT regulations, and company safety policiesMaintain accurate logs for mileage, fuel, deliveries, and hours of service (HOS)Communicate with dispatch regarding delivery status and any delays or issuesProvide professional, customer-focused service during all interactionsMaintain a clean and organized truck and work environment Minimum Qualifications Must be at least 23 years oldValid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL)Minimum 24 months of verifiable Class A driving experience within the last 3 years (or 36 months within 5 years)Clean driving record: No more than 3 moving violations in the past 3 yearsNo serious violations (e.g., DUI, reckless driving, excessive speeding, leaving the scene, etc.)No more than: 2 at-fault accidents in the past 36 months3 at-fault accidents in the past 60 monthsAbility to read, speak, and write English per FMCSA requirementsMust pass: DOT drug screenDOT physical (minimum 6-month certification)Company road testStrong understanding of DOT regulations and Hours of Service complianceAbility to operate tractor-trailers and navigate using GPS and routing tools Preferred Qualifications Forklift certification and experienceHigh school diploma or equivalent Physical Requirements Ability to lift and move freight up to 50 lbsFrequent bending, stooping, and climbingAbility to sit for extended periods while driving Why XGS At XGS, we prioritize safety, teamwork, and growth.
