Job Description:
HUDD Transportation is looking for experienced CDL-A drivers and Subhaulers for steady intermodal and rail freight serving our Chicago / Elwood operation.
Run a mix of local crosstowns and regional freight with daily home time, pre-dispatched loads, and strong weekly earning potential.
What You Can Expect
- Approximately $6,000 gross per week
- About $1,200 per day
- Approximately $175-$220 per move
- 3-5 local moves per day
- Approximately 20-30 loads per week
- Home daily
- 80% drop-and-hook freight
- Detention pay
- All empty and loaded miles paid
- Weekend work available
- HAZMAT incentive pay

The Work
You’ll handle intermodal and rail freight throughout the Chicago market, including:
- Chicago ? Elwood crosstowns
- I-55 Corridor freight
- Rail ramp-to-ramp moves
- Rail-to-customer deliveries
- Local and regional freight
- Interstate opportunities into Wisconsin, Iowa, Indiana, and Michigan
Job Requirements:
What We’re Looking For
- Valid Class A CDL
- Reliable tractor and equipment
- Experience with intermodal, rail, or local drayage preferred
- Ability to safely handle local and regional freight
- Drivers comfortable operating throughout the Chicago / Elwood market
- HAZMAT capability is a plus
Wage Range: 3000.00 – 6000.00 per week
