Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Owner Operator Driver to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for transporting freight safely and efficiently while ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction. As an Owner Operator, you will manage your own vehicle and operations, providing an essential service in the logistics and transportation industry.
Responsibilities
Safely operate a commercial vehicle to transport goods to various destinations.
Load and unload freight, ensuring proper handling and securing of cargo.
Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including bills of lading and delivery receipts.
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise.
Adhere to all local, state, and federal transportation regulations.
Utilize various types of equipment as needed, including forklifts for loading/unloading tasks.
Manage routes efficiently to optimize delivery times while maintaining safety standards.
Skills
Proven experience in commercial driving with a valid driver’s license appropriate for the vehicle type (CDL preferred).
Proficiency in operating different types of trucks including flatbed, dump truck, tanker, and freight vehicles.
Strong understanding of load unloading procedures and equipment operation (e.g., forklifts).
Excellent navigation skills with the ability to plan efficient routes.
Strong communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members.
Ability to work independently while managing time effectively.
Attention to detail in maintaining records and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.

Pay: $8,000.00 – $10,000.00 per week
