Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Truck Driver to join our logistics team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently across designated routes. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, adherence to traffic regulations, and excellent time management skills. The Truck Driver will operate various types of trucks, including flatbeds, tankers, and refrigerated trailers, ensuring timely deliveries while maintaining the highest standards of service.
Responsibilities
Operate commercial trucks to transport freight across specified routes
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance
Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of mileage and fuel usage
Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving
Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding route changes or delays
Ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of the truck both inside and out
Manage delivery schedules efficiently to meet customer expectations
Experience
Proven experience in commercial driving with a valid CDL (Commercial Driver’s License)
Familiarity with various truck types including flatbed
Knowledge of route driving techniques and freight handling procedures
Previous experience as a delivery driver is advantageous
