CDL A Local P&D Truck Driver Responsibilities
- Perform local Pickup & Delivery (P&D) duties as part of our LTL operation
- Safely pick up and deliver freight to customers
- Complete required pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Maintain accurate paperwork and delivery documentation
- Operate equipment safely and professionally
- Follow all DOT regulations and company safety policies
- Provide reliable, professional service to customers throughout the workday
CDL A Local P&D Truck Driver Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL required
- Minimum 2 years of Class A driving experience
- Previous Pickup & Delivery (P&D) experience is a plus but not required
- Hazmat and Tanker endorsements required, or ability to obtain them
- Hazmat endorsement costs will be reimbursed
- Good driving record with no major violations or accidents within the last 3 years
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safety procedures
- Commitment to safety, reliability, and professional customer service
- Ability to commute to Fort Atkinson, WI 53538
