What You’ll Get

Weekly Gross: $3,500 – $4,200
Weekly Miles: 1,800–2,100

Home Time: Weekends (34–48 hours on average)

Responsibilities
Use your own Class A equipment to run flatbed freight across Midwest routes
Properly secure and tarp loads according to industry standards
Log hours and miles accurately via ELD system
Ensure FMCSA and DOT compliance at all times
Qualifications
Minimum age: 23 years old
CDL-A with at least 6 months recent OTR experience (flatbed experience required)
Safety background must meet these standards:
Max 2 moving violations in last 3 years
Max 2 DOT-reportable accidents in same time frame
No more than 3 incidents total
No 15+ mph speeding tickets, rollovers, or rear-end crashes in 3 years
No terminations for safety reasons from previous carriers
No violent felonies ever; other convictions must be outside 3–5 year window
Must pass DOT physical, urine, and hair drug test
SAP applicants must be 5+ years post-program
No bobtailing — truck and trailer must stay together

Have you completed a DOT SAP program in the past 5 years? (Drivers must be 5 years clear from SAP program completion.)
Do you have at least 6 months of recent OTR tractor-trailer experience in the last 12 months, including some flatbed experience? (Required to qualify – local-only experience does not meet requirements.)
Do you currently own or lease a Class A tractor-trailer that you operate under your own authority? (Required for Owner Operator consideration.)
Is your truck a 2000 model year or newer? (Trucks older than 2000 must have documentation of a certified engine rebuild.)
