Job Overview
At suncoast drivers we are seeking a dedicated and skilled local flatbed delivery driver to join our team. Moffett truck experience is preferred but if you have forklift experience, we will work with you and train you on the Moffett. ** Do not apply if you do not have Moffett truck or forklift experience**
Responsibilities
Touch freight
ability to work around 12hrs per shift
deliver pavers on a pre-built pallet using the moffett to offload the product onto construction sites.
2-4 stops per route
dispatch time is between 4-5am
Experience
Proven experience in truck driving with a valid commercial driver’s license (CDL).
2 years MINIMUM verifiable exp in a tractor trailer, at least 3 months driving a specific flat bed trailer
Experience with loading and unloading freight using forklifts or other equipment is a plus.
Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in the trucking industry.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
must know how to drive a manual truck.
Requirements
No felonies in the last 7 years, any misdemeanors over 3 years.
