Mission
Reeves Construction Company seeks an experienced CDL A Dump Trailer Driver based in Vienna, GA, with a strong focus on safety excellence.
Main Responsibilities
Operate a truck with a dump trailer to transport materials like sand, gravel, crushed rock, and paving materials.
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections on equipment including tires, lights, brakes, gas, oil, and water.
Handle paperwork related to Department of Transportation regulations, freight bills, fuel, and load tickets.
Follow detailed instructions, use good judgment, and work independently.
Operate the vehicle safely in traffic, adhering to company policies and procedures.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED.
At least 6 months of driving experience.
Valid Class A CDL (no endorsements required).
Ability to drive manual transmission (preferred).
Availability to work some Saturdays.
Meet all DOT physical and licensing requirements.
Physical Demands
Must regularly handle tasks requiring use of hands, reaching, climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, walking, talking, hearing, and tasting or smelling. Capable of lifting up to 60 pounds. Vision requirements include 20/40 eyesight with or without correction. Hearing should be excellent or corrected.
Work Environment
Exposure to moving mechanical parts, weather conditions, vibration, and sometimes wet or toxic environments. Noise levels are typically loud. Reasonable accommodations are available for disabilities.
