Join our dynamic team as a CDL-A Driver specializing in Midwest and Over the road (OTR) routes. Midwest drivers get home weekends! OTR drivers stay out 2 weeks and are paid 60 cpm. This exciting role offers the opportunity to operate newer equipment across the Midwest region and Over the road (OTR). You’ll be the backbone of our logistics operation, ensuring timely deliveries while enjoying the flexibility of being home on weekends. Nexgen Transport LLC is a leased on company with Nation Wide Transportation LLC out of Hudson,IA you will be dealing with their staff and hauling their loads/trailers.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate tractor-trailers, across designated OTR routes and in the Midwest.
- Navigate using GPS systems and adhere strictly to DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations and FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) standards.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety, including checking brakes, lights, tires, and securing cargo properly.
- Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, deliveries, and vehicle maintenance records following DOT regulations. ELD provided.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding route updates, delivery schedules, and any issues encountered on the road.
- Ensure all freight is loaded, secured, transported, and delivered in accordance with logistics cargo handling standards.
Requirements
- Valid CDL-A license with a clean driving record.
- Proven 2 years experience in commercial truck driving, especially in over-the-road (OTR) routes or within the Midwest region.
- Knowledge of GPS navigation systems and route planning for efficient delivery schedules.
- Understanding of FMCSA regulations, DOT rules, safety standards for truck driving.
- Strong commitment to safety protocols.

Pay: $1,500.00 – $1,800.00 per week
