Overview:
Gardner Logistics Company is a small, driver owned, transportation company that hauls general freight throughout the U.S. We are seeking a skilled and reliable CDL Class A Driver to join our team. To be considered for this position you must have at least 2 years OTR experience. NO SAP accepted. This position is based out of Houston, TX, regional routes, HOME EVERY WEEKEND! Must be capable of running 600-700 miles a day. As a Truck Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials to various locations. NO TOUCH FREIGHT! This is an independent contractor position.
Duties:
Safely operate commercial vehicles, including semi trucks and trailers, to transport goods
Follow assigned routes and schedules to ensure on-time delivery
Perform routine inspections of the vehicle before and after each trip
Adhere to all FMCSA and DOT laws and regulations while operating the vehicle
Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, fuel consumption, and other relevant information
Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members
Requirements:
Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL Class A) with a clean driving record
Valid medical card
Verified Dry Van OTR experience (2 years minimum)
NO SAP HISTORY ACCEPTED (no failed or refused drug/alcohol tests)
Reliable and proficient driver. Willing to drive 500-600 miles daily.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $1,300.00 – $1,800.00 per week
