Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently while adhering to all traffic laws and company policies. This position requires a strong understanding of various truck types, including tanker, dump truck, super dump, tandem, tractor / trailer and flatbed vehicles. The Truck Driver will play a crucial role in ensuring timely deliveries and maintaining the integrity of freight during transport.
Duties
Operate a variety of trucks, including manual transmission vehicles, to transport goods to designated locations.
Load and unload freight as necessary, ensuring proper handling and securing of cargo.
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, routes, and deliveries in accordance with company policies.
Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that arise during transport.
Adhere to all local, state, and federal regulations regarding commercial driving.
Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries to foster positive relationships with clients.
Experience
Proven experience in truck driving with a valid commercial driver’s license (CDL).
Familiarity with various truck types such as tanker, dump truck, super dump, tandem, tractor / trailer and / or flatbed is preferred.
Strong knowledge of manual transmission operation is a plus.
Experience in loading and unloading freight safely and efficiently.
Ability to navigate using GPS systems and maps for efficient route planning.
Excellent communication skills and a commitment to safety on the road.

Qualifications
Valid CDL A license
Proficiency in driving manual transmission vehicles
Experience with dump trucks, flatbeds, and tractor-trailers
Ability to load and unload freight safely and efficiently
Strong communication skills for route driving and GPS navigation
Previous experience in delivery driving and forklift operation
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $24.00 – $28.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
