Job Summary:
We’re hiring experienced CDL-A drivers for a dedicated refrigerated account based in Indianapolis. Drivers deliver refrigerated products throughout Indiana and surrounding states using electric/manual pallet jacks. This position offers consistent miles, excellent weekly pay, and home most days.
Job Details:
- $2,100 per week
- Home Time: Home most days with occasional layovers based on dispatch and Hours of Service
- Freight: 100% dedicated refrigerated freight
- Delivery Type: Driver-assist deliveries using pallet jack (no hand unloading of individual cases).
- Stops: 1-7 deliveries per route
- Schedule: PM dispatch (3rd Shift)
- Weekend Work: Required (days off during the week)
- Equipment: Late-model automatic tractors with reefer trailers
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a Class A tractor-trailer
- Deliver refrigerated freight on a dedicated route
- Complete driver-assist deliveries using a pallet jack
- Perform pre- and post-trip inspections
- Maintain DOT logs and paperwork
- Provide professional customer service
Qualifications:
- Valid CDL-A
- At least 1 year of recent tractor-trailer experience
- Safe driving record
- Able to operate pallet jack during deliveries
- Must be comfortable with overnight driving and weekend schedule
