CDL A Delivery Driver – Weekly Pay up to $1,100 Jobs in Tampa, FL at Suncoast Drivers
Driver will Deliver Case by Case liquor and wine to retail client such as restaurants, hotels, and other retail establishments mostly using a hand cart. they are required to wheel the product into the store with a hand truck and drop the product. They do not stock it on shelves.
The drivers will handle Check and MO’s, no Cash. It is helpful to have food and beverage experience, but not necessary.
Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Truck Driver to join our logistics team. The ideal candidate will have experience in operating various types of trucks, including flatbed, tractor-trailer, and tanker vehicles. This role is crucial in ensuring the timely and safe delivery of freight to our customers while adhering to all safety regulations and company policies.
Duties
Safely operate commercial vehicles including flatbed, refrigerated trailers, and tankers.
Execute route driving efficiently to deliver goods to designated locations.
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance.
Manage loading and unloading of freight, ensuring proper handling of goods.
Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs for hours of service.
Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding route changes or delays.
Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while on the road.
Provide excellent customer service during deliveries, representing the company positively.
Qualifications
Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
Experience with manual transmission preferred.
Proficient in operating different types of trucks, including flatbed and refrigerated trailers.
Knowledge of freight handling and delivery processes.
Strong understanding of route navigation and time management skills.
Ability to pass a background check and drug screening as required by company policy.
Excellent communication skills and a commitment to safety in all driving practices.
