Summary
As an OTR Truck Driver, you will be an essential part of our established teams, responsible for delivering freight across long distances while ensuring safety and compliance with regulations. Your core skills in truck driving and commercial driving will be vital as you navigate various routes. With premium skills in handling manual transmissions and refrigerated trailers, you will efficiently manage diverse cargo types. Your relevant experience in load and unload operations will further enhance our logistics efficiency. Responsibilities
Operate tractor-trailer vehicles to transport goods across long distances, ensuring all miles are compensated.
Adhere to safety regulations and traffic laws while driving.
Load and unload freight efficiently, utilizing forklifts and other equipment as necessary.
Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, mileage, and cargo.
Communicate with dispatch to receive instructions and report any issues during transit.
Perform routine inspections and maintenance on the truck to ensure optimal performance.
Qualifications
Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record
Proven experience in truck driving, specifically with tractor-trailers
Familiarity with manual transmission and refrigerated trailers
Ability to handle flatbed and tanker operations
Experience in load and unload procedures, including freight management
Strong delivery driver background, with knowledge of local driving regulations
