Job Description
We are seeking reliable and skilled Class A CDL Truck Drivers to join our dedicated regional fleet. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting freight safely and efficiently while delivering exceptional customer service. This position requires the unloading of freight at retail store locations using roller systems, along with handling various driving tasks. Pay & Benefits
Guaranteed Weekly Gross Pay: $2,000 (based on 1,800 miles and 4 loads per week)
Unload Pay: $240 per trailer
Stop Pay: $25 per stop
Backhaul Pay: $50
Sign-On Bonus: $1,000 ($500 after your first load and $500 after 30 days of active service)
Paid Ride-Along Training: 1 week at $150 per day
Freight & Routes
Freight Type: Dry freight, 100% touch freight, manually unloaded using rollers
Route Type: Live unload deliveries retail locations
Miles: Average of 1,800 per week with 4 loads
Shift: Early morning starts to complete multiple deliveries throughout the day
Home Time
Schedule: Home weekly for a 34-hour reset
80% of home resets typically occur over the weekend
Must have secure parking for both truck and trailer during home time
Equipment
Late-model Internationals, Freightliners, and Kenworths
Slip-seat operations
Assigned truck after completing one week of ride-along training
Manual transmission vehicles
Forklift operations for loading/unloading (as needed)
Key Responsibilities
Safely operate Class A vehicles for regional deliveries
Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper handling and securing of materials
Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections
Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation
Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers
Provide excellent customer service at each delivery location
Comply with all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies
Qualifications
Minimum Age: 21 years old
License: Valid Class A CDL
Experience: Minimum of 3 months recent CDL driving experience
Drug Screening: Must pass hair follicle and urine drug tests
Background Check:
No felonies, DUIs, or at-fault accidents
No misdemeanors in the past 10 years
No terminations from previous employment
Full review of all driving violations
Must be ready to bring two weeks’ worth of supplies for orientation and be prepared to seat a truck immediately upon hire
Secure parking location for truck and trailer is required
