This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your career within a fast-paced, innovative logistics environment dedicated to excellence in freight brokerage and supply chain management.DutiesDevelop and maintain robust relationships with carriers, clients, and partners to facilitate efficient freight movement.Negotiate rates, terms, and service agreements to maximize profitability while meeting customer needs.Coordinate with carriers and clients to plan transportation routes, schedules, and delivery timelines using transportation management systems (TMS).Manage inbound and outbound freight shipments, ensuring compliance with international trade regulations and trade compliance standards.Utilize CRM software to track leads, manage client communications, and generate new business opportunities through lead generation activities.Provide exceptional customer service by resolving issues promptly, updating clients on shipment status, and maintaining clear communication channels.Collaborate with internal teams on logistics planning, shipping logistics coordination, and transportation sales strategies to improve overall operational efficiency.QualificationsProven experience in freight brokerage, logistics sales, or transportation management systems (TMS), Motive and 411 to research carriers.Strong knowledge of supply chain management, shipping logistics, and transportation planning.Excellent negotiation skills coupled with a customer-centric approach to client relationship management.Familiarity with trucking and working with common carrier), load planning, and vetting quality carriers to meet company policy for compliance. .Proficiency in following company SOP while developing data by primary and backup on lanes.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with excellent organizational skills for managing multiple accounts simultaneously.Strong understanding of matching carrier to our internal customer service requirements.Join us in shaping the future of freight brokerage by leveraging your sales expertise and logistical know-how!
