Summary:

Private Fleet Net Zero, PFNZ, is a Silicon Valley start-up that is creating an AI-empowered marketplace platform to match the 45% of trucks that belong to private trucking fleets that are mostly empty on of their backhaul trips to $50B+ of engaged USA truckload spend and at the same time decarbonize trucking. We are looking for an experienced carrier sales manager/representative who is well-connected to North American private trucking fleets. This position is remote and demanding.

How You Will Contribute:

Identify and pursue new private trucking fleets to generate revenue for PFNZ
Conduct platform demos for potential and existing private fleets
Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing fleets to ensure their satisfaction and retention
Work with our team to develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all sales activities and customer interactions in the Company’s CRM system (HubSpot)
Collaborate with marketing initiatives to enhance sales presentations, proposals, and collateral
Provide feedback to the developers on service enhancements
Attend industry events and conferences to network and promote our products and services
Be involved in setting company strategy, direction and plans to help PFNZ maximize its potential

You:

Minimum of 2 years of success closing private trucking fleets to haul 3rd party freight
Minimum of 3 years of experience in carrier sales for a brokerage
Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
Strong analytical (Excel) and problem-solving skills, and self-starter working remotely
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Familiarity with CRM systems and sales reporting tools (preferably HubSpot)
Willingness to travel as needed

As the first carrier sales hire, you will take over the development of the PFNZ carrier network. $50B+ of freight spend interest is waiting for PFNZ’s service. You will lead the effort to recruit private and dedicated fleets into our network, and they pay nothing to enjoy additional revenue. The CEO has started and led 5 tech companies and sold 2, while generating millions for investors, has 10 patents and a Harvard MBA. Your primary responsibilities are to manage and grow our network of private fleets from dozens engaged to hundreds for the aggregation system/electronic marketplace for private fleet trucking capacity and develop industry-changing productivity automation, more at https://privatefleetnz.com/.

The value of domestic private fleet trucking capacity is ~$350 billion. These private fleet trucks are 45% of all of the trucks on the road and are empty ~80% of the time on their backhauls, big trucks also, per Forbes, spew 57% of the deadly pollution particulates.

Our ideal match has varied and recent sophisticated freight broker experience in closing private fleets in the carrier sales department, and has a history of exceeding goals while contributing directly. We are looking for a creative contributor/leader to work side-by-side to play a key role in building and leading our SaaS/Marketplace business. Initially, you will close fleets directly and build the team as we grow. You will be responsible for the carrier experience and enhancing the platform that will disrupt and improve our massive industry. You are going to be our first carrier sales team member.
