Purpose
Under direct supervision of the Sales Manager, the Carrier Sales and Dry Freight Specialist team member is expected to discover and pursue new Carrier prospects, nurture current relationships, and understand what the Dardini Difference means.
Responsibilities and Duties –
· Maintain, Discover, and Grow relationships with carrier accounts.
· Grow your business through generating sales leads, soliciting new accounts and increasing services to current customers.
· Develop and manage customers relationships while answering questions and resolving any issues.
· Maintain and update the company CRM system with client details, sales activities, and action items.
· Collaborate with internal departments to guarantee industry leading customer service on every shipment.
· Attend monthly sales meetings, generate and submit sales reports to management.
· Attend industry trade shows to identify potential sales leads and engage with existing customers.
Qualifications
· Dry freight carrier base is required.
· Strong customer service and business development skills: able to establish rapport with others in a courteous and professional manner.
· Excellent communication.
· Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
· Able to work as a team player and to work independently to achieve results.
· Ambitious and highly motivated
· Sales professional who can reach and exceed goals.
· Able to remain resilient in a competitive environment.

Position has a high base pay and commission and bonus pay structure as well.
