Role Description
The Carrier (Owner‑Operator / Reefer) role at Leal Family Group LLC is a full‑time partnership opportunity for carriers operating anywhere in the United States.
Carriers must have active DOT and MC authority and be seeking an experienced dispatcher to secure loads, negotiate rates, and coordinate freight on their behalf.
Daily responsibilities include:
- Running scheduled reefer loads coordinated by dispatch
- Maintaining communication regarding routes, delays, or updates
- Ensuring equipment is compliant and ready for transport
- Managing delivery documentation and providing accurate updates
- Following all FMCSA, state, and federal regulations
- Collaborating with dispatch to maintain on‑time performance and service quality
This role is ideal for carriers who want consistent freight, professional dispatching, and a reliable partner to help maximize revenue and reduce operational stress.
Qualifications
- Active DOT and MC authority
- Experience operating reefer equipment and transporting temperature‑controlled freight
- Ability to maintain accurate logs, BOLs, and delivery documentation
- Professional communication skills to coordinate with dispatch and customers
- Strong time‑management and reliability for scheduled pickups and deliveries
- Commitment to safety and compliance with transportation regulations
- Physically capable of handling freight when required
- Prior experience in trucking, logistics, or freight operations is highly beneficial
- English, Spanish, or bilingual carriers welcome nationwide
