Cargo Supervisor, Schiphol (1300)
Full-time, fluent in English and Dutch
Job description
You will supervise day to day air freight and mail operations. During the introduction period, you will receive an internal training
Planning of outgoing and incoming flights
Preparation of work orders and loading, breakdown and distribution instructions for GHC
Coordination of incoming and outgoing flights handled by GHC
Coordination and arrangement of trucking
ULD control outgoing and incoming flights
Updating the internal system of export and import freight handling
Coordination and information control to other airports destinations
Coordination with sales and space control section to optimize cargo space
Irregularity in handling of cargo, their procedures and administration
All other common department and administration activities
Job requirements
In order to qualify for this versatile and challenging position, required are at least the following criteria:
Fluent in English and Dutch (verbal and written)
Basic computer skills including Microsoft Word / Excel / Power point / Outlook
Driving License (B)
Preferably 3 years or more experience in the airlines industry: Airlines or Cargo Handling company
Preferably 3 years or more experience as Manager or Supervisor
Work in shifts incl. weekends (one week of night shifts each month)
Available for 40 hours
Necessary to undergo screening to obtain VGB (verklaring geen bezwaar)
Safety handling and Aircraft operation
Good communication skills
Valid work permit is required, our customer will not support any VISA application.
