Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Car Hauler to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting vehicles safely and efficiently from one location to another. This role requires a strong understanding of various truck types and the ability to manage loads effectively. As a Car Hauler, you will play a crucial role in ensuring timely deliveries while maintaining the highest safety standards.
Responsibilities
Safely load and unload vehicles onto transport equipment, ensuring proper securing of all loads.
Operate various types of trucks, including flatbeds, tankers, and refrigerated trailers, as required.
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in safe operating condition.
Maintain accurate records of vehicle transport, including delivery logs and inspection reports.
Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving to ensure the safety of yourself and others on the road.
Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any potential issues.
Manage freight handling tasks as needed, including securing loads for transport.
Requirements
Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record.
Experience operating manual transmission vehicles is preferred.
Familiarity with various truck types such as dump trucks, roll-off trucks, and delivery drivers is advantageous.
Strong knowledge of load unloading procedures and safety protocols.
Ability to perform physical tasks associated with loading and unloading vehicles.
Excellent communication skills and a commitment to providing exceptional service.
Must be able to pass background checks as required by company policy.
