Position: Cabin Maintenance Technician at Porter Airlines
Join the team at Porter Airlines as a Cabin Maintenance Technician, specializing in aircraft interior furnishing repairs. Engage with a variety of components while ensuring passenger safety and comfort.
This role requires you to perform maintenance tasks on aircraft interiors, including seats and lighting, under the supervision of experienced maintenance personnel. You will follow strict safety protocols and ensure documentation is updated accordingly. In addition, you will be involved in training initiates and promoting a culture of safety management within the company.
Key Responsibilities:
• Repair and maintain aircraft interior parts
• Ensure compliance with safety rules and regulations
• Keep shop and maintenance tools in excellent condition
• Provide “on-the-job” training to new technicians
• Participate in AOG maintenance activities
Requirements:
• Completion of secondary school required
• College diploma in aircraft maintenance from accredited facility
• Valid Ontario driver’s license required
• Mechanical aptitude and experience advantageous
• Ability to consistently lift 23kg
