Industry: Multi-modal 3PL / freight brokerage. Full-stack — OTR, reefer/temp-controlled, intermodal, cross-border, customs. Company name withheld at this stage; disclosed to shortlisted candidates.

Salary & Commissions: Either Base ($60K – $100K) + Commissions (10% on GP)

Or 65% GP, fully commissioned.

The Need: This company needs someone who can pick up the phone, get past gatekeepers, and turn a cold list into a live pipeline — without someone standing over their shoulder.

The Role:

  • Cold-call and pitch new prospects daily — this is outbound, not inbound
  • Build and manage your own sales pipeline from first call to signed account
  • Maintain and grow relationships with existing clients, not just chase logos
  • Work directly with Logistics Coordinators to make sure what you sell actually ships
  • Own your numbers — this is a hunter seat, full stop

What They Need:

  • 3-4 years of business development experience in freight forwarding

  • You can work independently and handle curveballs without a playbook
  • Strong negotiation skills — you're expected to structure deals, not just relay pricing
