Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site position for a Business Development Manager based in the London, Canada Metropolitan Area. The role involves identifying new business opportunities, fostering client relationships, developing and implementing strategic growth plans, achieving sales targets, and analyzing market trends to expand the company’s market presence. The individual will work closely with internal teams to ensure high customer satisfaction and deliver tailored transportation and logistics solutions to clients.
Qualifications
- Proven expertise in business development, sales strategy, and client acquisition within the transportation or logistics industry
- Excellent relationship management, networking, and negotiation skills to build and sustain client and partner relationships
- Strong analytical skills to assess market trends and identify growth opportunities
- Experience in strategic planning, forecasting, and achieving sales targets
- Effective communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work collaboratively within cross-functional teams and drive organizational success
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (preferred)
- Familiarity with transportation management systems or logistics software is an asset
