Role Description
Job Title: Business Development Executive
Salary Budget: SAR 4,000–5,000 per month
Location: Jeddah, Saudi Arabia
Employment Type: Full-Time
HAAN Global is looking for a proactive and commercially driven Business Development Executive to manage both business development and freight operations. This is a hands-on, end-to-end role where the successful candidate will manage the complete customer and shipment cycle — from generating leads, securing business and preparing quotations through shipment execution, invoicing and job closure.
Mandatory Requirements

· Spoken Arabic proficiency is mandatory and non-negotiable.
· Fluency in spoken and written English is mandatory.
· Strong communication, sales, negotiation and customer-handling skills.
· Ability to independently handle both sales and operational responsibilities.
· Strong organizational, follow-up and problem-solving abilities.
· Comfortable communicating with customers, shipping lines, airlines, transporters, brokers and international agents.
· Previous experience in freight forwarding, shipping or logistics is preferred.
Compensation
· Monthly salary: SAR 4,000–5,000, depending on experience and suitability.
· Sales commission in addition to the monthly salary, as per company policy.
· Performance-based bonus, as per company policy.

Key Responsibilities
· Identify and develop new business opportunities within the freight forwarding and logistics market.
· Generate sales leads, approach prospective customers, arrange meetings and conduct sales visits.
· Understand customer requirements and develop competitive logistics solutions.
· Obtain and negotiate freight rates with shipping lines, airlines, transporters and overseas agents.
· Prepare quotations and commercial proposals and actively follow up until conversion.
· Manage confirmed shipments from booking through final delivery.
· Coordinate shipping documentation, transportation, customs clearance and overseas agents.
· Provide customers with timely shipment updates and maintain strong customer relationships.
· Ensure accurate job costing, invoicing and closure of operational files.
· Support collection and payment follow-ups where required.
· Maintain an active sales pipeline and achieve assigned sales and performance targets.
