Role Description
1. Develop new customers, establish perfect customer information and complete relevant sales reports.
2. Research and identify new business opportunities including new markets, growth areas, trends, customers, partnerships, products and services.
3. Carry out sales forecasts and analysis and present findings to senior management/the board of directors.
4. Maintain good relationships with the existing customers and promote long-term and stable cooperative relations between customers and the company.
5. Complete the sales targets set by the company and carry out sales work in this industry in a planned manner.
6. Think strategically – seeing the bigger picture and setting aims and objectives in order to develop and improve business.
7. Work strategically – carrying out necessary planning in order to implement operational changes.
8. Oversee the analysis and sales development of leading companies in major industries, establishing a foundation to transform them into key customers. Ensuring local and regional teams understand the features and methodologies and educate them broadly.
9. Keep an eyes on competitors, economic conditions, and market trends to adapt with sales strategies
10. Request to management team for the proper credit term and credit limit for customers.
11. Responsible for the customer’s accounts receivable recovery in accordance to the time period of collection set by the company.
Qualifications
Business Development, Sales, and Negotiation skills
Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
2-3 years’ experience in the freight forwarding business
Knowledge of international trade and supply chain management
Strategic planning and market analysis skills
Ability to work collaboratively and independently
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, International Business, or related field
