Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Business Analyst to join our team. This role is responsible for managing sales orders, coordinating customer schedules, and ensuring smooth logistics operations. As the Business Analyst, you will work directly with customers and internal teams, including the processing plant, to maintain an efficient and accurate scheduling process. This role requires strong communication skills, the ability to analyze data, and manage multiple moving parts to meet customer needs.
Responsibilities
Generate Sales Orders: Accurately create and manage sales orders based on customer requirements and internal needs.
Coordinate Weekly Customer Schedules: Work with customers to set up and update their weekly schedules for shipments and deliveries.
Freight Management: Line up freight for deliveries, ensuring the timely and cost-effective transportation of goods.
Communication with Plant Operations: Collaborate with the plant team to ensure customer schedules align with the plant’s production and shipment timelines. Resolve any scheduling conflicts or issues that may arise.
Data Analysis & Reporting: Analyze scheduling and shipment data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and potential improvements in the scheduling and logistics process.
Continuous Improvement: Work closely with customers and internal teams to improve scheduling processes, customer satisfaction, and overall operational efficiency.
Experience
Previous experience in logistics, sales order management, supply chain management, or customer coordination
Strong analytical skills with a high attention to detail
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
Proactive and self-motivated.
Team-oriented with the ability to work cross-functionally.
Customer-focused with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships.
